The pet foods that we carry are from reputable companies that use human grade ingredients to create a balanced diet for our carnivorous domesticated pets. These diets provide a low or very low grain/carbohydrate component and provide higher meat and fat proportions along with other quality ingredients to provide a well balanced food source. While the below listed names are the foods our clinic carry, this is not to say there are not other companies making good quality pet foods. Solid Gold Canine Wolf King and Barking at the Moon (due to high carbohydrate content we do not use this company's other formulations.) These products provide a Bison/Salmon protein source. Their feline Katz-N-Flacken and Indigo Moon provide lamb/menhaden fish and chicken/menhaden fish protein sources. Their canned formulas provide a turkey/fish or chicken/chicken liver for dogs and a tuna formula for cats. They have several varieties of excellent treats. Natura Pet Foods makes Innova and California Natural, providing diets of turkey, chicken, beef and herring protein sources in their dry and canned formulas with "general" formulas and "very low carb" formulas. Merrick provides a large variety of proteins in many various formulations for canines and felines. The canines have dry and canned varieties while the feline line is only canned, but vast in variety. Pinnacle provide diets of chicken and herring protein sources in dry and canned formulas for canines and felines. |
